Problem: Food Conveyor Issue
We were approached by a lettuce supplier to a leading Fast Food Restaurant, seeking a solution to prevent lettuce from unevenly spreading across their food conveyors during processing.
Solution: Stainless Steel Conveyor Spreader
After careful analysis and brainstorming, our team got to work. Using SolidWorks, a cutting-edge CAD program, we crafted a spreader plate design that would ensure even distribution of lettuce across the conveyor.
It's worth noting that prior to our involvement, several other companies had attempted to address this challenge without success. However, our tailored solution proved to be the game-changer they were searching for.
About the Fabrication Project:
We naturally opted for stainless steel for its durability and hygiene properties in food manufacturing. The design was precision-cut and expertly folded to achieve the desired shape and functionality. With the pieces ready, our skilled welders .
Installation on-site was the final phase utilising TIG welding to seamlessly join the components together, ensuring a robust and secure assembly. Our team worked meticulously to place and align the spreader plates on the conveyors, ensuring optimal performance. Once in place, we conducted a thorough trial run to test the effectiveness of our solution.
The results were outstanding. The lettuce now flowed smoothly and evenly across the conveyors, eliminating the previous issue of uneven distribution. Our client was delighted with the outcome, impressed by our innovative approach and meticulous execution.
