The latest Stainless Steel Fabrication at Wildebees Engineering was for Hamilton's new Maori Health clinic. This project involved designing, constructing and installing custom outdoor rubbish bins that combine functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
About the Fabrication Project:
Our journey began with an innovative design phase using SolidWorks, a cutting-edge drawing program renowned for its precision and versatility. This powerful software allowed our engineers to create detailed and accurate designs, ensuring that every aspect of the rubbish bins met the highest standards.
Once the design was finalised, we transitioned to the fabrication phase. The design files were sent to our advanced laser cutter, which precisely cut the metal sheets into the required shapes and sizes. These laser-cut pieces then moved on to our plate rolling machine, where they were expertly formed to the desired curvature, ensuring a seamless and sturdy construction.
The next step was the assembly process. Our skilled team utilised TIG welding, a technique known for its strength and clean finish, to meticulously assemble the bins. Each weld was carefully inspected to ensure structural integrity and longevity. Following assembly, the bins underwent thorough polishing, enhancing their appearance and providing a smooth, professional finish.
With the bins completed, our team transported them to the Maori Health clinic site in Hamilton. Here, a designated area was prepared by digging a hole and pouring concrete to securely anchor the bins in place, ensuring stability and durability in their outdoor environment.
This project showcases our technical expertise and commitment to quality and also reflects our dedication to supporting community initiatives.
